"In addition to her skills as a main study guitarist, Leanne has also performed widely as a singer/songwriter. She is a flexible musician who has experience in a range of genres and contexts. Leanne demonstrated a high level of skill in organizing personnel and resources to make music during her time at North East Scotland College. She was able to work to a very good standard in all subjects as part of her HND. Her attendance was perfect and her attitude was exemplary. Leanne had a strong academic aptitude and has produced work to a high standard in essays, reports and oral presentations. She worked well both as a team player and individually and has excellent interpersonal skills."

"Leanne is a great person to work with on all levels. She is a very talented singer and songwriter as well as a good performer. She is very reliable when it comes to communication for a booking and also punctual when she comes to play and keeping to her set time. As well as enjoying her own material I like the way she takes other people's songs and often makes them very unique - I have seen her do this on more than one occasion. She is someone I would consider to be a very professional musician and while she is definitely already making a name for herself she is also definitely a talent to watch for in the future."
Music Programmer - Aberdeen Performing Arts
"We were extremely grateful to discover Leanne via the CalMac Culture competition and choosing her from a number of solo artists was a unanimous decision from our team due to her superior ability on the guitar and her stunning voice. She was a pleasure to work with and delivered a number of captivating performances at TMF 2014 that were highlighted by The Herald in the festival's 5 star review. Leanne is an extremely talented performer with a very humble approach that enables her to make an instant connection with listeners and promoters alike."
Artistic Director - Tiree Music Festival
“Leanne visited our nursery for a volunteering placement. During her placement she provided music activities for a group of children aged 3-5 years. She provided fun and interesting activities which helped develop language skills through awareness of beat when singing and using musical instruments. The children benefited from Leanne's skills in expressive arts and were provided with the experience of both performing and being part of an audience. The children were able to express their feelings, make decisions and have the challenge of interacting and following instructions from a new adult. All of these experiences relate to outcomes in our curriculum – Curriculum for Excellence. Lastly just to say Leanne very kindly gifted a CD of her song Snowflake to each child in the group.”

"I had listened to some of Leanne's own music and thought her tone would sound great for my recording session and it lived up to expectation. On top of that Leanne was proactive in wanting to put her own sound into the recording which was what I was looking for as that's the vocal sound I initially heard. She picked up the song structure very quickly and made rehearsals run smoothly with the rest of the session musicians."
